THE GIRL WHO WAS ON FIRE Winners posted (early)

4/7/2011

Whoops! Apparently I got my dates mixed up and I was supposed to post my winners for this contest on the 7th instead of the 11th...yeah, me and numbers just don't mix. So yes, I am closing this contest a few days earlier than I said I would.

Anyway, our 2 lucky winners who will be receiving a copy of THE GIRL WHO WAS ON FIRE are:

Jessica Secret
&
Karencita Roth

Winners, please email me at readbree@gmail.com with you mailing address. I will then forward those on to SmartPop Books who will send you your copies.

So what do you all think of Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth being cast as Peeta and Gale? Are you ecstatic, outraged, indifferent?

The Reaping: District 3 (Win a copy of THE GIRL WHO WAS ON FIRE)

3/22/2011
In honor of the April 5th release of The Girl Who Was on Fire, Smart Pop Books is celebrating by holding their own version of the Hunger Games’ reaping—"one with much less threat of death and way less perilous prizes."

For the 13 days (excluding weekends) leading up to the release, they've arranged to give away 2 copies of The Girl Who Was on Fire at 13 different “districts” around the web.

Welcome to District 3!

Starting today, I've been authorized to give away 2 copies The Girl Who Was on Fire. It's a collection of essays from "your favorite authors on Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games."

As a contributor to this book, and as a huge fan on HG, I just have to tell you how excited I am for The Girl Who Was on Fire. It's a fun read while still being intellectual--and if you're like me, reading it will make you see the HG books from so many new and different perspectives. It really is the perfect book for any HG fan!

All you have to do to enter is answer this question in the comments of this post:

Now that Jennifer Lawrence has been officially cast as Katniss Everdeen for the HG movie, what actor would you like to see in the role of Peeta? (Or Gale if you prefer to daydream about him instead.)

The giveaway for this district will be open until 10:00 pm MST on {EDIT: April 6th}. TWO winners will be selected by Random.org and posted here on {EDIT: April 7th}. Contest is open internationally.

Now go forth and comment...

And may the odds be ever in your favor!

{NOTE: THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED}
